Giacomo Rogeri of Brescia 1697. Violoncello copy

Also made in 2015 with the assistance of Mark Womack. It is slightly smaller than most cello’s but has a very big and penetrating sound.

William Bartruff
David Techler 1750 Rome, Cello Copy

Copy made by William Bartruff from the original which sold in the Sotheby’s auction on 1986. All measurements are from the original instrument as indeed all of our copies are. The sound is robust and deep and carries well in any concert setting.

Matteo Goffriller Venice, 1717. Cello Copy

Copy made by me as a demonstration to my students what a good cello should sound like and how to make it. It has a very penetrating sound and is fun to play. Carries well in any concert or solo setting.
